I snapped this the other day killing time at a wedding. I don't know what made me go in this direction with it but I liked the end product.

Oh, yea. This is a great example of Digital painting. The subdued colors, slightly out of focus gives it a very ethereal feeling. It's representational in that you can recognize the flower--it's a daisy--but the setting is very abstract and interest grabbing. Kudos!

Thank you all for the wonderful feedback.
I did this in Photoshop with a few different layers combining blur,, grain and something I painted with a "sponge". After I got it where I wanted it, I used a few layer masks to make the lines that make it look old. Here is the original: http://cciotti.smugmug.com/photos/57...2_UgVN9-XL.jpg
