Default Shooting without my camera....

So, didn't take my camera to work today, but stopped off for a 'humpday' beer on the way home.

With only an iPhone on me, I got this:

Compass Point

I can't give you any data, as I took it via CameraBag which strips the EXIF!

Not a gallery piece, but I actually really like it, and for a first gen iPhone with a lowly 1.2MP cam, its not bad!

I guess what I'm trying to say is

"Take the damn shot - who cares if your camera isn't the latest and greatest!"

Well colour me impressed. That's a gorgeous shot. I've always been less than impressed with cell phone camera shots. Suffice it to say, this one definitely starts swaying me the other way. Maybe when I finally get an iPhone (soon, soon...) I'll change my mind a little more about the quality of camera phones. But this one is really nicely done.

Of course, having such a nice setting to take photos in sure helps a lot too!

Thanks Guys! I'm still quite amazed by it myself - I saw the lamps and balanced on the wall over the ocean to take it - wasn't sure how it was going to come out or if I would live.... but had to try. Happy I did!

Is it. Oh well - still less than the P&S I bought about 10 years ago! Close enough!

The new Iphone 3GS that came out last month has an even better camera than the other 2 I think it is 3MP if I am not mistaken.

Indeed, But I live n The Bahamas, so the chances of us getting legal iPhones are non-existant (hell, we can't even buy Apple computers here - have to fly to the US and buy them!)

So, for now, I'll stick with what I have!
