Default Summertime beauty

Took a chance on trying something different. Only my second try at flowers, but used a flat black mat board behind these and use a flashlight to highlight the area I wanted. Hope you like one of them.

It looks almost like natural sunlight at sunset. Thanks for the idea of the black behind the flower it will come in handy.

your project worked very well. My son and I were trying out spider webs at night with a flashlight and the effects can be neat as you angle the light this way and that...great job

You have done a great job Dale. I think we must always be trying something new and different, so we can learn. Keep going.

Thanks everyone for your comments. Will have to try this out on the spider webs. That sounds fun.

Some beautiful pictures there Viking. Looks like the flashlight gives off a little different color light. Might have to give that a try someday.

Luckily it was pretty easy to set this up. There was just enough room behind the stem of this and the other flowers around for the board to fit in to. Set my timer to 2 seconds so I had time to move the flashlight where I wanted it to highlight. Biggest problem was keeping the board from falling forward and pushing the flower down.

This really is an amazing capture.. the 1st one is just exquisite..
if u wouldnt have told us "how you did it", i dont think we would've guessed that u used a flashlight to highlight the flower..
