There is somthing about B&W that conveys the mood of a shot better at times .This is one of those times Sulky forboding and lonely.

What a beautiful image Kym. I love the peaceful look to it. In BW it is very dramatic too. Great work!

thanks tycooder i havent shot a lot of black and white but will do more in the future .you are so right about the mood of the shot .this doesnt look as good in colour.

thanks Fred for the complement,this part of the coast goes for miles and is mostly uninhabited it is such a great spot for landscapes (and for my son to surf )

The first thing I thought was how moody this picture was. I think the b&w does a good job of expressing the moodiness.

What a beautiful capture, it shows peace & tranquility on one part, yet when your eyes are drawn to the waves you can almost here them crashing.

Excelently done.

this is an amazing capture, love the B&W, it really emphasizes how the sun is falling on those waves
