Default Silhouette attempt 2

B&W Tower Thingey

Camera: Canon EOS 450D
Exposure: 0.008 sec (1/125)
Aperture: f/5.6
Focal Length: 21 mm
ISO Speed: 100
Exposure Bias: 0 EV
Flash: Off, Did not fire

Exposure Program: Manual
Date and Time (Original): 2009:06:25 21:30:26
Date and Time (Digitized): 2009:06:25 21:30:26
Metering Mode: Spot

So from some who commented on my previous two images I went back to this as I am enjoying the silhouette stuff. Though I realised one slight flaw or it could be me is that when I upload them they don't completely look black so I do have to do some messing around with the contrast just to bring it to full black. Am I the only one who does this when it comes to Silhouettes or is it something that can't be helped?

Also I think it really works with the whole black and white thing. After messing around with GIMP with the contrast setting I am really liking that too.

i think its pretty good but I've never done any silhouette shots yet so can't answer your question

If you want a full on response why not post it in the critique section - they can be pretty harsh in there but I've learnt a lot from the feedback there

It's really good. In my opinion if you darken it more it will lose too much detail.
