Thanks - it did get a bit of post-processing love (a slight crop and some work on the colours and sharpness).

Cornflower

Thanks,

Wulf
I just happen to be doing some research on conflowers for my wife's book whick I am editing. Albeit this post is over two years old, it is a Cornflower, there are several varietals in the UK that grow naturally, you are lucky to find it, as the plant is in decline and has become a protected species. Great capture!

The date must be coming out screwy on your machine - the post is from Wednesday and the photo from late May (so, in other words, it is still something I'm keen to find out).

Thanks for the positive ID - I was fairly sure from looking at some other pictures on Flickr but that confirms it.
