My family and I recently went to a BBQ put on by by the local astronomy club. Of course I took my camera and of course I took some pictures of the kids. So far, I've found two I really like. But I can't decided on which looks better... B&W or Sepia.
#1 This one was actually cropped. ![]() ![]() I kind of wish I'd gotten just a little bit more of her and the foreground in the frame but the daddy in me says, "So what!" #2 I used a little more than usual of the Noise Ninja filtre on this one... seems to give it a bit of a "soft focus" (?) look to it. ![]() ![]() This might sound kind of bad but this one so reminds of Hansel and Gretel. Please note: I'm not asking for any kind of critique on technique or lighting or anything like that. Just opinions on which version looks better... B&W or Sepia Thank you all for your help.

I'm seriously thinking of going a couple different ways with these pics. Either set them all up in one large frame or get four seperate frames and then hang them as a group on the wall. Mostly because I just can't decide which I like better... so I'll just give myself the best of both worlds.

Before I read the remarks, the bottom two also reminded me of Hansel and Gretyl. Very nice work. Showing how tall the trees are really highlights how small they are.

As Kimi said, i too like the first one in B&W.. there's something captivating in that. i just didnt want to go down further to look at the rest of the set, which is also so beautiful..

I am almost always partial to sephia. To me, the first photo looks completely different when you look at the sephia version. Both are wonderful. The second photo is Hansel and Gretel. I think it looks scarier as B & W and more warm with the sephia. Hard to make a decision.
