Default Nikki Sue Nikon's Softer Side

Nikki Sue Nikon and I ventured out in the neighborhood early Sunday morning to take some pictures and beat the heat. We were walking by the next door neighbor's house when she said..."Look!" "Sparkly things!" " Stop here, a girl's gotta have some bling!"

"Ooooh, over here! More Bling!"

"Next door!", she said. "I see daisies!" "I really like daisies!"

"Awwww, look at that, it's the bunny we see every morning!"

"Look, over there!" she said. More to follow.....

Love the second flower, the colors are so pretty, and the morning dew, looks like you had a nice
productive walk with some very nice shots. Looking forward to seeing more.

Niki Sue has a great eye for beautiful things Mike. You should be proud of her and you should be proud of these captures too. Lovely colour and detail in the first three and what a lovely capture of the cute rabbit.
Great work you two. What a team.

Dave.

Mike, great shares of your walk with your mistress .. the single bloom peaking out of #1 is cool, and the flower in#2 looks to me as though it's actually moving or "speeding" do you see what I mean? thx fo these ..

Thanks so much. They were my neighbor's echinacea which had gotten top heavy and fallen over. I thought would give an interesting perspective.

Thanks so much for looking, Jake. Nikki Sue looks over my shoulder when I visit DPS and she has learned a lot!

Give it up and don't waste time wondering about your sanity!! Your sanity went out the window when you became obsessed with photography!

I'm so glad Niki loves sparkly things. The consensus seems to be that other folks do, too, especially pink sparkly things. I really like your second photo. Even with missing leaves, she's a beauty. (I think that is supposed to be deep and philosophical). I also like the sparkle--or is it a warning flash--in the eye of the rabbit. It add continuity to your sparkle theme. More please.
