Default Long time.. misc photos..

Hi..

Haven been to these forums regularly over the past few days.. clicked some random photos the other day in Taj Bengal Hotel. Not too pleased with the results, but was trying different things.. Hope you like them.

A different angle of a tree.. was trying to make the lights in the background twinkle like stars

Indoor tree underneath stars

hotel TAJ BENGAL, Kolkata.. from 2nd floor. the palms in the bottom are the subject of the first pic.

Taj Bengal, Kolkata

the lamp is actually a reflection off the window, the billboard was across the road from my room..

This moth was flying around in my room tonight. initially tried to swat it away, then inspired by the threads here in DPS, got out my cam n started clicking instead. He was a bit fidgety at first, but then settled down into a nice pose

Moth

Cheers

Harsh

These are really good. It is a beautiful building. And the moth is great too. Nice closeup he posed for! He was probably relieved that you were taking pictures of him instead of swatting at him!

Thanks Fred.. Got the idea of the lamp photo from the reflection assignment a few weeks back. Guess i'm way too late to submit it though

Yeah, i guess a camera instead of a swatter soothened the stage fright a little. at the cost of sounding pompous, i like this shot myself, particularly since i'm very scared of all insects, however small or harmless they are
