Default Squirels

Looking at you!

Scared white but hungry.

These were some of my first shots with my newly acquired nikon d60.With nikkor 70-300 vr lens. i'm just starting in photogaphy and want to learn more. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

Great job! I love the first and the last one. I've never seen a white squirrel before, how cool!

I love watching these little guys in my backyard. You did a great job capturing them! Thanks for sharing - you have inspired me to pull out my telephoto lens and give it a shot!

Great captures, the first one looks like he is getting ready to jump on you. I like how you captured the second, sitting underneath the limb between his ears and eating. And the white squirrels are great anytime you can get them. The white color stands out so much they are normally the first ones to become a predator's lunch.

the expression the first one has is great... really nice job with the DoF too.

i also have never seen white squirrels before... are those common where you live or did you just get lucky?

Actually , These pics were taken in a park and the two white squirels in these photographs are 2 different ones. Some of the squirels would even come and take peanuts from our hand!
