Default Nature Hike in Ontario

Camera: Canon PowerShot S3 IS
Exposure: 0.001 sec (1/1000)
Aperture: f/2.7
Focal Length: 6 mm
ISO Speed: 3

Camera: Canon PowerShot S3 IS
Exposure: 0.01 sec (1/100)
Aperture: f/2.7
Focal Length: 6 mm
ISO Speed: 3
Exposure Bias: -1/3 EV

Camera: Canon PowerShot S3 IS
Exposure: 0.002 sec (1/500)
Aperture: f/2.7
Focal Length: 6 mm
ISO Speed: 3
Exposure Bias: 0 EV

I have to pay close attention to the ISO. I use my camera in AV (Canon) mode mostly and the ISO will climb from time to time making the image have too much noise.

Cheers,

Pathfinder

Great Shots! Love the moth in the 1st shot or is it a wasp? very colorful. I think you probably have your camera set to Auto ISO; I know on mine, 40D I can change that and did, so I can select the ISO setting.
Thanks for Sharing these
Michael.

Your welcome. I am sure that it was. I seem to only be able to select ISO 80, 100, 200, 400,800 in AV mode. But, if I don't select it goes way us like 1000 or more.

Nice crisp pictures, and great colours. The bug in the 1st is my favorite!

These are very well done, crisp, sharp focus. The first one with the bug is my favorite because I've never seen one of those before!

Excellent work. I really like the second shot which I believe is a lilly.
