Default W4 On Fire...

Well, would you believe 1 mph?

This doesn't qualify as art, but I did want to share my first ever panning shot.

One of the "rites of passage" for any farm kid is to learn how to drive the equipment on the old homestead and my boys are no different. As I was snapping shots of the boys and their grampa for the photo album, I decided to speed the old girl up a couple notches.

I discovered its much easier making something that is fast look fast. Next time I bring a tripod

Thanks for looking, and as always, comments/critique welcome...

Beautiful shots of the M4, haven't seen one of these in a long time. You are right about the "rites of passage", that is one of the few things I can still remember from my childhood and then later on passing it on to my sons. Thanks for sharing this, as this is a special moment to all farm families.

Its odd how these things stick in your mind decades later. My first time "helping steer" was on an Oliver 70, followed closely by a Cockshutt 570. My first "solo" was in a 4020 JD

My kids have no idea how lucky they have it. Their first lessons were in air conditioned comfort and power steering, lol.
