This is my 5000th post and what an opportunity for me to convey my sincere thanks to all the kind folks here in this forum .. your comments to each of my posts have been inspirational and up-lifting .. it's a great feeling to know I have posted an image that someone else likes .. and that's what makes this forum a super place - sharing and appreciation of each others' work .. I know it's not the policy here, but I encourage the new members to comment on other member's posts .. it's a ripple effect and the big payoff is favor returned

I share your view that people should comment on each others work.
It's something you have always done and I know the forum is a better place for it and many members are better photographers because of it.

Only been here a short while so really appreciate people like you still posting images and commenting on ours

I fully endorse what you say about commenting on posts - my experience suggests that members look at images posted by people who have looked and commented on theirs
