Default The Lotus Pond

Legend says that when the Buddha was born, he walked seven steps in ten directions and with each step a lotus flower appeared. Look closely at the soles of his feet when you see a statue of Buddha — you may see the imprint of the lotus.

I call this one Tigerfly! I just couldn't quit get the focus like I wanted, but I liked the colors in the end result and the pose.

Four words describe this post, quality, quality, quality, quality.

Quality work Michael, I think these are some of the best and most detailed dragonfly pictures we have seen on DPS, and the lotus flowers are stunning, a pleasure to view

I know whenever I see one of your posts, I'm going to see something good and this one is no exception. Love the lotus blossoms and of course, the dragonflies are awesome. That red one is something else!

This set is even more beautiful than your last. I absolutely love the first one. The detail in the flowers actually look like brush strokes and you captured them wonderfully. I really like your framing technique too. Nice finish for excellent photos. Thanks for sharing!
