Default Chattooga River (from "Deliverance" fame)

This is a section of the Chattooga River in South Carolina. If you look closely (especially in the larger version), there's a fly fisherman in the distance, hoping for trout.

This is also the same river where a good portion of the "Deliverance" movie was filmed. And to anticipate your comments, I still have my dignity. I'll leave it at that.

Fish the Chattooga

I love photos that lead your eye to tranquil places, with the hint of more tranquility around the bend. I'm especially liking the sky reflections in the ripples and the various shades of green that simultaneously warm and cool your photo. I'm hoping it will work like a mental wash, if you know what I mean.

Lindy - It seems that you and I enjoy many of the same things about this photo. Thanks for your insights.
