Default Great oportunity

One of the mobile companies were promoting the new iPhone the other day and I was fortunate enough to pass by when they were giving people yellow umbrellas and made them dance a little "Singing in the rain" choreography.

I am only fairly new to photography and this is the first time I tried to take photos of people. Hope I managed to capture the moment well.

There's a separate topic in the Critique section if there's anyone willing to give an advice. Not much response so far...

I'm glad you posted them on share your shot Gulpa, people shooting is something I avoid at all costs, it can be quite difficult to get them in the frame where they need to be. Since I know the situation that you shot these, I would say they are pretty good, you composed them well, they are interesting to look at and I really like your idea of selective coloring on the yellow.

Shooting Flowers = easy , Shooting people = difficult, Shooting alot of people all moving around in bright sunlight = very difficult, I think you did well under the circumstances, I really like the last photo, something about it reminds me of classic style fashion photography.

thanks for showing them !

Vin

I'm not (yet) into selective colouring PP, but that last shot is cause to consider .. it looks like something out of a 60's fashion mag .. great share!

I love these. All of them. The selective coloring works wonderfully on them. Especially that last one. Nice work!

Thanks for the kind and encouraging words!

I felt quite sheepish taking these photos I tried to be as inconspicuous as I can and draw as little attention as possible

I thought that the lady from the last photo was a model hired by the company to pose on the fringe of the crowd. It turned out that she was just shy and waited for the dancing to start before she joins the rest of the people.

Good variety in this set as you have highlighted the yellow umbrella in several different ways. I think you did well.
