This is a very nice shot.
In responce to your comment to my One (olive) Tree Hill, I also love the sense of isolation in your picture.

I love this picture and the clarity is excellant.
Please share how you take such sharp HDR. I have taken a few bracketed pictures on my Canon 40D using a -1, 0 & +1 exposure. I import them using CS3 but I never seem to get the clear sharp pictures I see yours and others achieve. They always appear to have a kind of milky sheen over them. Can you tell me the best way to create these HDR pictures. Is there a particular set of adjustments you make after putting the three pictures together etc.? Cheers Carl

Is mainly use Photomatix, a piece of software that helps you align the shots automatically . You can get a demo at HDR photo software & plugin - Tone Mapping, Exposure Fusion & HDR Imaging for photography Qtpfsgui is an open source alternative that works great also, but is very complex to use. Both these programs use sophisticates alignment techniques, resulting in sharp pictures, especially when you take shot without a tripod, like me. ![]() Also, I bracket at -2, 0, +2 for more contrast. If you need some assistance, you can always pm me on flickr.
