Talking I did it! 1st time infant photo shoot!

This was my very first time photographing an infant. I am just learning but I like the way they turned. I used all natural light and most of the shots were with a 50mm f1.8. Thanks Lputnam for your advice!

Well you did a fantastic job! Natural light and my 50 mm is all I usually use as well. Newborn babies are so much fun! I am sure mom and dad will be thrilled. You should be so very proud, great focus and fantastic lighting for sure. Fabulous job!

Love your photos. Like the natural light. I am hoping I can also shoot babies. It seems so much fun.

Thank you for your comments. I was very excited! They are not perfect but for the first time I thought they turned out pretty good. I am taking pictures with the dad next week. The little guy was wore out and the dad wasn't home from work yet. Thanks again!

For the fist time it is great. You just have to work on little details. In the mother and baby picture I would love to see a bit more of the baby.
Good luck.
I also love shooting babies. Fun!

Gotta say I love all of these but the first one takes it for me, I love the shot of newbornes all scrunched up asleep. Reminds me of when my Harrison was that small, he's just coming 3 now and a right little monkey!
