just noticed this comment. Thanks for the encouragement. As I have gotten back into photography, just clicking the shutter helps, and with a little luck you get some nice shots.

Sometimes, luck can play a more important role in photography then skill/knowledge. I think this is a nicely executed photo of what might be considered objects with no interest. Perhaps, next time, you could try "posing" the items. Maybe something that the scissors or straight razor could be jabbed into to create a more dramatic looking interaction... if that makes sense.

thanks for the suggestion. my brain doesnt work like that sometimes, so having an outside eye is always appreciated.
