Default country girl in NYC

hi all,

it's been awhile since i've been on the forum. a busy spring semester has not left much time for photos. thankfully, summer is here! anyway, two weeks ago i took my high school band to new york city, and now that i've finished going through over 600 shots (hardly any of which i have uploaded to flickr yet), i thought i might post a couple of favorites....

and my favorite part of the trip:

july_hymn,

You've got a strong sense of the big city in these shots, country girl or not! Very good work, and I hope you'll find many more out of your 600+ shots to share with us. And I hope that by then, we'll have figured out that SYS is not just for showing photos - it's also for commenting on others' work. getting to know new members, and continuing to offer encouragement to all members.

Very nice! The expression on the lady's face is full of life. And that is definately a post card/magazine worthy shot of Lady Liberty. Well done!

Thanks for the NYC tour, country girl. These are really wonderful shots, and accurately capture the atmosphere of the city that never sleeps. Good work, keep it up.

Fantastic shot of an enormously busy city. Love the shot of the friendly looking lady but my favourite is the last one.

I've only been to NYC once and that was years ago. Your captures are wonderful, I like the 2nd one; the lady looks like shes having fun. and of course your capture of Lady Liberty is Stunning.
Thanks for Sharing these
Michael.

All These shots are very well done! I like the first one of times square the best. The exposure is just perfect!
