Default On the pier!

Took these this morning. Was hoping for a nice sunrise but it was too cloudy!

love both shots..

the clouds in fact add another dimension to the picture and i jus love the PP u've done to the 1st photo.. gives an old world charm.. glad u took the effort to get up early and click these and share with us..

2 great shots, I especially like the 1st one; Beautiful capture of the Lighthouse. Good jog on the sunrise and the gull.

Thanks for the comments guys. Must admit I like the way the 1st one turned out, at first thought that it might be a lost cause when it was so cloudy. Just shows you though! I processed the 1st shot a little different at first, shown below, can't decide which I like better though!

I favor the one u posted originally.. with the lighthouse and sky being in the same sepia tone.. and you're right.. it jus shows.. however, the person behind the camera is as important as view in front of it.. the composition, the thought, everythin is almost perfect in that pic..

Two very beautiful shots there love the perspective on the lighthouse the way the railins draw you to it. The seagull looks like he was disappointed about the sun too !
