I've been wondering where you have been! Well I like the second one, Great Family shot!
but the 1st one looks too dark and the lighting from the bottom doesn't work for me. sorry! The "Father?' on the right looks like he could be from Phantasm!!! He's probably just not happy because he had to pay for everything!!! Thanks for Sharing Michael.

It is a very different way to go about shooting shots but it does catch your attention because they are so different and like Michael said, what's up with the Dad? If he can't smile at a wedding I wonder if he can smile at all?

Hi and welcome back! I know. Day jobs and all that. I'm going to be a dissenting voice and say I like the first photo because it reminds me of a scene from an opera. The shadows highlights the severely contrasting experience between the couple and the parents. This isn't a photo. It's a Story. Also, if you cut a paper rectangle and frame just the faces of the couple, you also find an interesting photo. Their eyes, especially hers, are so expressive. The other crop is dad with his dour expression. That is priceless. I think the job of the wedding photographer is to conceal all the underlying drama. Your photo reveals something--maybe not an opera or even a drama--but something intriguing and that makes it really interesting.
