Default Swans bedtime beckons.

Hey all.

Been out tonight for another stroll armed with camera. Tonight I went to a massive lake just down the road where thousands of swans live.

This was my attempt at catching the sun setting behind the old pier as the swan settles down for the night. One last sailing dinghy can still be seen catching the last few minutes of on water time.

Thanks for looking, comments encouraged & welcome as normal.

Glyn

What a gorgeous sunset Glyn, you arrived at just the right time. The colour of the sky is lovely and add a nice silhouette and you have a super photogaph. Lovely work Gly my freind.

Hiya, Glyn, maybe my monitor but I'm struggling to pick up the swans, so for me its more sunset than swans, but what a sunset.
I think its a lovely picture with the pier beautifully silouhetted against a fantastic skyline. Great job

Hi Jake
Thanks mate, for your kind words, Shame the swan was not in a more swan like pose, still not too bad an effort.
Thanks again.

Hi Beach
The swan is not in the best of positions to be honest, but he is down the bottom right hand corner, unfortuently I caight him with his head in the water
