Default Reverse Macro Lens Flower Closeups

I was out testing my rig (reversed 18-50mm sigma on a canon t1i) at Shrine Lake.

Here are the results:

I was so engrossed with the web site I almost forgot to comment. These are great, is it hard to focus with the set up?

Haha, yeah I guess you could say it is more difficult to focus. The biggest difference is you have no autofocus. You just need a high shutter speed outside. It isn't bad in a studio setting with a tripod. I find if you shoot on a prime lens, it is not really to bad.

LOL I am guessing you mean my photoblog? Yeah I have been trying to put some time into that lately.

Hey Zomie great work .. ok newbie question but what is reverse lens macro ? I have now a picture of you taping the lens on back to front ? but guess that ios wrong lol

It is where you have an adapter ring for the front of your lens that allows you to connect it to the body of your camera. Basically it converts a standard lens focus closer getting you a macro lens on the cheap.
