Great Shots, I was on the mall several years ago on a 4th of July! It was a mass of people, elbow to elbow and I loved it. The only problem was everything else (Smithsonian etc) were closed. I need to get back there!!! By the was the shot of the monument against the clouds is Fantastic!

Awesome shots, I have a fascination with America and would love to travel there someday to take my own shots. I think you captured your monuments wonderfully. Thanks for sharing.

Stunning set of captures Jeff and so sharp. Looks like a great place to visit. The sky in the second photo is gorgeous, and what a great capture of Vinny in the last one. Great stuff Jeff.

thanks everyone it was really an amazing place to visit especially with the kids learning about this stuff in school then seeing it in person.
