Cool What I did on the Shopping Trip

This old mill is next to Morrisons Supermarket in Paisley, so I got to play with my camera while the shopping was done.

Anchor Mill 3

I had to get in the picture.

Anchor Mill 2

It`s now flats and offices.

Your first shot evoked an audible "wow" followed by "ahhhhh". There are a few historical sites in Tucson but the vast majority of the building in Tucson are 1940's to the present. When I see images like these, that is, buildings rooted in antiquity, I often wonder about the psychogical sense of connectedness to the past one derives from their presence in your daily life. It must be wonderful.

awesome reflections and a beautiful building. Wish I had one of these with a gorgeous stream running by my local supermarket!

I think you take all these old buildings for granted, it`s only since I have been into photography a bit more seriously than before, that I have been taking a greater interest in buildings that have always been there throughout my life. A little bit of coincidence, my wife`s aunts worked in this mill when it was producing thread.

It`s the River Cart and it runs into the River Clyde

Take some flat calm water and add a sunny day, find some interesting buildings and mix together, introduce a talented photographer and the results are fantastic. Great work Bill, I think the final shot gets my primary vote
