Default A Photo Finish

This day last Sunday, this visit to Bridlewood Winery is beginning to distills into a few lasting images. Wispy clouds, certainly and grape tendrils on posts that climb the hills. "Yes" to the vineyards but lingering with a "good finish" are the trees, the Weeping Willow for their swaying beauty and Live Oaks on hills.

This music came to mind as did this poem by Mary Oliver entitled "When I Am Among The Trees". (Here's a snippet)

"Around me the trees stir in their leaves
and call out, "Stay awhile."
The light flows from their branches.

And they call again, "It's simple," they say,
"and you too have come
into the world to do this, to go easy, to be filled
with light, and to shine."

Hi Lindy, these photos will always transport you back to great memories. I love that last shot....a very classic and moody shot.

These pictures have that expensive and expansive soap opera feel.
They are quality.
We saunter up the three mile tree lined avenue that is the gateway to South Fork, the Bridlewood stables.
We find next years favourites for the Kentucky fried chicken derby.
We fly a kite over the acres of ripening grapes while a lone gull flies high in the sky.
And then theres one that doesn't seem to belong, but that holds your attention like the stage hynotist.
Fantastic work, and as ever, you never, fail to impress.
