Thanks Mike - the difficult job is catching the ball in the shot when it is travelling between 80 - 100mph. Cheers, Bernz

Great shots - did you really sqeeze the trigger on Q or switch to continuous shutter mode ?

The TwentyTwenty series was just so full of action - a real gift for photographers with long reach glassware.

Maybe some day - retirement beckons

I do not and have not used continuous shots with these fotos. I have perfected the timing on the batter/bowler movements. My son is a good cricketer and I get lots of practice of taking single shots each week in the season.

I have used continuous on the odd occasion but still find it better to concentrate on the batter or bowler. You can see other examples of the cricket action on my sons club website, which I maintain, and 98% of these are a single shot. www.eastscc.co.nz/gallery.html

Great shots, the timing on the 1st was spot on!

Not really my game to be honest, but your shots are very inspiring.
