Default Not another sunset

I'm not sure I can do this, hopefully is not against the rules.
I posted this picture for postprocessing critique and got no attention whatsoever.
So I guess I posted that in the wrong place and I'd like to share it with you and get some of your impressions.

Sunset slices of time-space

The red sunsets on the Mediterranean sea are always memorable. The day before Yesterday we went to the Rishon LeZion beach with friends and enjoyed one of those memorable moments. While I was taking pictures it was pointed out: ..."Buh, another sunset picture... You must do something original with it or else"... So I tried.
The picture shows the actual colors as they were captured by the camera. No post processing on the tones. I used GIMP to get the time frame illusion.

Thanks! You are always that nice?
Did you notice how the grey clouds match the sea and the pillows?
I did my best not to disrupt the harmony there.

All i can say is this is one of the coolest pics i've ever seen... i mean, i've seen something similar done with the moon but not the sunset. And the colors are just beautiful, almost can't believe you did no pp, no color enhancing! I LOVE this photo! great job!
