Default Reverse Lens Macro Rose and Bee Shots from the Garden

I have been experimenting a lot lately with reversing lens to see if I can get a quality macro shot. These were taken with my Sigma 18-50 reversed on my Canon T1i. I don't think they are turning out to bad:

Rose Pedals:

Bee Collecting Pollen:

Rose Off Focus:

Rose Bud:

What do you think for a $75 lens?

The flowers are gorgeous and the colours so good. And the bee my friend is exceptional. Great work Zomie.

Jake.

These are very nice. I very much like the colors and shapes in the first one, and the details in the second one.

All nice, although the bee always give me shivers....I really like the last one a lot though.

Thank you very much for the comments...it was difficult to get that kind of detail in that setup as you have limited focus so I really appreciate this comment

I have also played with the reverse lens and it is challenging. It is also fun and pretty rewarding when you come away with shots like these. The flowers are gorgeous! That bee is awesome! Great detail and clarity for how tricky this really is to do. Fantastic job. I hope you play some more.

Great little set!! Really nice!! The bee is so sharp! There's something about the first one that I find really appealing!

I agree with you. I think I am going to turn it into a texture.
