Cool Plane Pictures

These were taken at the Museum of Flight, East Fortune

Never realised how small Concorde was inside, it felt quite claustrophobic.

Nice pics.. I cant decide which one i love the most

I'd gone to an aero show in feb, and totally botched up the pics.. partly due to the crowd, and partly due to my in-experience..
cant wait to have an opportunity to click these beasts again..

My line of work this Bill and you show us three excellet captures Bill. Love the perspective on all of these. They are all stunning and yes that big bird is so small inside. Very nice work Bill.

Jake.

Concorde was very tight inside but remember how old it is ! I love these. The Vulcan is awesome and I think they both share some DNA if I am not mistaken

I can rarely see a photo of a jet without thinking back to college when the pilots at our local air force base used to fly their flight pattern over the University of Arizona. Rarely could you make through a lecture without having to wait for the jets to pass. These were F16's. I like all your shots but I'm drawn to the third photo because of the starlight effect of the lights. It's a girly comment, I know.

Not too many people visiting so it was easier to take the pictures

Of course in the audio links they told you about how it expanded in flight, even the carpet got bigger.

I have another picture of Concorde in my collection taken at Newquay air show, quite some time ago, they were doing scenic flights on the plane but though I like looking at planes not too keen on flying. Of course now I wish I had bit the bullet and flew on it, too late now.

They might well do. The audio link described Concorde as BrItain and France`s eqivalent to the Apollo Mission of the USA because of the technical advances made in the building of the. plane

It`s quite amusing because I was complaining about the lights getting in the way, I don`t suppose they look too bad now.
