What a stunning selection of pictures.
JerinTheBox makes a fascinating observation about the deer obviously being comfortable in your presence and I think I know the answer. You're really a whitetail deer yourself and have been taught to take photographs, although I don't claim to be absolutely certain of my facts. These shots were shot handheld at 1/30 and 1/80s (which i loose quite a few do to camera shake or movement of the subject) The aperature was at f/4 because of lighting and the iso was at 800 , which added some noise to the photos. If they would only come out when i could use f/5.6 iso 100 and shutter speed of 400.
