Default Angel face

Haven't posted in ages...been a lot going on, you know how it is. I've been making photographs like crazy, though, working on getting the shot right in camera. My camera doesn't shoot in b+w, so colour conversions have to be done in post, but I'm pretending I'm shooting with film and it's making me so much more conscious of what I'm shooting. It's a bit pretentious, but I'm so loving it!!!

This is my beautiful daughter in an unusually quiet & contemplative moment. Just wanted to show her off, really...

Baby

Converted to sepia in PSElements 7.

I agree. I like the lighting, the mood, the sepia tone, and the composition. She is cute and even if I can't see her eyes, I am sure she is really beautiful. Thanks for sharing!

Great composition all around. Such a great moment to catch on a child. This would make a great print.

Great capture of a little one in contemplation. Like the sepia treatment.

Thanks for your feedback, everyone! It's so encouraging to hear that other people see the beauty, too...it's kind of hard to be objective when you're shooting your own kids, you know?

What a precious little angel indeed. Really a great shot you got there. It is not always about the smile or eye contact sometimes it's about the moment and you just stopped time here. So very darling.
