I was walking to the train the other day and snapping away when I caught this lovely young lady trying to catch a cab. I realized I want to do more "street" photography but am having trouble just randomly taking pictures of people walking down the street. I'm thinking of getting a small film camera (35ti or something) and seeing if that helps. What do you do?

As far as the poll is concerned, I guess it would be a on a picture by picture basis. The picture posted looks great in B&W but I'd love to see it in color.
Are you considering a small 35mm because your D40 is too hard to carry? I have a D40 and have no problem carrying it around with me. |

I have no problem with the D40 at all, I love it though it's rather conspicuous as I'm walking down the street. That and I love film.
