Default High Noise lesson

since it's been RAINING !! when I'm home and NOT Raining when I'm working, I'm using one of swallow photos for some practice from a lesson a fellow member gave me in dealing with high noise .. I still have a long way to go, layers and filters and some guy same Gussian's effect .. for me pretty much all new post work,, I did what I thought looked right, but I need more experiance and time to learn... thought I'd throw the result of the first try anyway ( since I haven't gotten anything new)

After applying the explained changes..I'm just not used to such high speed and ISO.. all new to me and I'm learning as I go, but I think I cleaned it up a bit and improved the view
and learning new technique is always good

Still have noise, but it's clearer
it's a shame these aren't viewed best in large lol .. oh well

I thank the photographer and good friend for taking the time to give me some excellent pointers on more advanced methods, I need some more time working it out,, but thought I'd show some minor progress,

thanks for taking a look,

Vin

I don't have photoshop so I must must must get it as good as I can the first time around and just just use the brightness, saturation and contrast sliders in my camera software to make the basic minor adjustments......People who have and can master Photoshop are at a distinct advantage over the rest of us...so good luck with the learning.....the improvements look good

Hi Vin, Photography must be your destiny. Sunshine or rain, you are a student with a love of learning. I just love watching you observe, experiment, grow through your mistakes, and try again. It's a joy to be invited on this journey with you. For that privilege, thank you!

That is more then a minor improvement. I think it looks fantastic and very much an improvement. I have yet to learn this technique myself to help clean things up and sharpen them. I also love the frame work as well. Fantastic job!

Well done. I'm finding that a little bit of processing technique goes a long way toward rescuing some of my marginal shots. It's a never-ending learning curve.

Well done Vin, you've done better than me with the editing. I've got PS, but still havn't got to grips with it, other than cropping and straightening and touching up the odd dust spot.

I think your two pictures are different and second improved by the process. Anyway, it must be good, you signed it
Perhaps its time to drag back a couple of mine that didn't make it on flickr and have another go.

take care
