Default Towering evening thunder storm

Took these a couple of days ago as a thunderstorm just missed us as it formed to our east. According to the news, this storm got up to around 33,000 feet high.

Oh don't you just love when the clouds do that? beautiful shots! i love the sunlight on these giant clouds

These are beautiful shots. The first one brings up a childhood memory. When we would have skys like that I would think it was the second coming. Thanks for sharing.

Nice! I wonder if it would have been possible to do an HDR photo to light up the foreground a little. It looks like there's a barn or something in the second photo -- that might have been neat to see, too.

I like the vertical crop -- it "builds" the clouds up a bit.
