Default Macro

came home early from office, so thought i'd try some macro photography. used the SUPER MACRO feature of sx10.

My phone - ASUS P527, although u cant make out from this angle
ASUS P527

Kept the leaf on the lens and pointed towards the light to get the light from behind the subject . Need help with PP and other feedback. Have posted this pic in the critique section too. Any help would be welcome.

Hope the watermark doesnt look too cheesy/cocky as i'm still a beginner. Just wanted ot try out a tutorail i read online ot create watermark.

Well i don't have the gear to do a macro shot really but i think these look great and as "macro" as you can get lol i love the leaf one because i'm partial to nature shots and anything green... i wouldn't critique here because it isn't the proper forum for it but i don't think i would have a critique for you. I really like these photos and i like the fact that you don't really know what the first one is. and don't feel timid about putting your name or your mark on your work. beginner or not, amateur or whatever you should be proud, and you should protect your work great job!

the dof on your phone is AWESOME!!! great job! and I love the light shinning through the leaf is great!

Love the leaf shot, the way it appears transparent is beautiful!

Thanks imik.. I just have canon's super zoom P&S so trying to do whatever i can with the this.

Thanks David and ukglyn.. I tried the conventional angles but the light was getting obscured as i got too close.. so i thought of trying the other way round and ended up with this..
