Default I lost my personality today.

I hate these days when I just find myself sitting somewhere and staring at nothing. And there's nothing but a big cloud in my head.
I'm bored to death and I'd like to do something but I don't have a clue what that something is.
The weather sucks, nothing's on TV, the cinema is closed....

I really hate these days.

I lost my personality today.

.RefleXion.

I don't know why I keep posting here since the topic moves so fast, my stuff hardly gets any comments.
(Like my previous post; a few views, no comments whatsoever.)
Maybe my photos are too.....I dunno...artsy? for this site. *sigh*
I don't like begging for comments, but it does get me bummed out when I get none.

Oh well, thanks anyways anyone who looks and doesn't leave a comment.

Hello there.

Don`t worry about replies. There are sometimes pro pics which are not commented for.
Keep going and trust me you will learn so much from here.
Your 2nd picture is nice. The reflections in the water are very cool.
Well Done.
Remember don`t give up ok

Thank you!!! I'm sure there are loads of people like me here. Disappointed for getting no comments and doubting their work for that (though I don't do the later much anymore, but I used to.)

I've been here since December and I learned all the basics from here when I first started my hobby. Nowadays I don't find that much inspiration from DPS though...and I don't like to copy concepts anymore, even if it's for learning purposes.
Such as the water drop photo. I was taking it and couldn't stop thinking that everyone does this, there's absolutely no personality in this. But it just sums up this day, I had to do it.

Hi Milla,

I really like the color in your first shoot, but how did you get that scratched up look? It gives the photo sort of an old school look - i like it!

By the way, happy midsummer. I'm a Swedish expat living in the US so I won't get to celebrate it, but I think you guys celebrate it as will in Finland, right?

Thank you so much! ^^ I make the scratched up look in GIMP. I'm addicted to making my photos vintagy.

And yes, happy Midsummer! We do celebrate it here too. The weather hasn't been on our side though. Rain rain rain rain....=/

Hey tingeliM,

For what it's worth, coming from a N00b, but loved both pics.. the 2nd one has such relaxed, melancholy feel to it ( maybe suited your mood to the T ).

And the 1st one, GORGEOUS. I've been trying to get drop photos.. highly un-successful till now.. till now, we've seen reflections off hanging drops, but the refraction and clarity of the leaf below through the drop is simply outstanding. And even the clarity of the drop themselves.

Since, i'm still new here, i like looking and trying up new concepts. This one tops my list for now

Harsh

Hi, Milla. I looked at your post (yesterday, I think?) with the young ducklings in the pond next to your sauna, but I was at work and didn't have time to comment. Never to worry, even on days when you don't feel like you have your personality, (like today),....trust me, you do, because your personality shows through on your posts, and comment or not, I almost always look at yours when I see them because I know they will be different!
