Default first attempt at b&w

guys

what do you think of my first attempt at b&w? recently i have become more and more an admirer of b&w streetshots and wanted to try my own. this is the best i have come up with so far:

saturday afternoon

any tips would be greatly appreciated.

FIRST ATTEMPT is great!!!! look very crisp! great job...love all the different levels in you shot too!!!

Default Repeated patterns

I love the way the pattern of the upper level is repeated in contrast on the ground. Very cool.
