Getting this close to insects and seeing them as living creatures in such detail makes it almost impossible for me to hate anything. It's not something I can prove, but as soon as I started thinking that way, they seemed to stop biting. Not one sting from bee or spider in two years, two mosquito bites so far this year (that's excusable as "dining").

The luck of finding so many insects, or even having them come to where I am, seems more than random. The ones that spend time giving me opportunity for shot after shot really seem to understand they are safe from harm. I'm glad you enjoy them.

I HATE spiders!! But I am so in love with your yellow one Everything is great about that picture. The way you captured him with his legs out, the color and sharpness, the flower that he is posing on. Just wonderful!!
