Default Cactus flowers fully open

To continue the cactus series, the flowers fully opened today and probably won't last very long. So here are the next shots and the last for now.

Close shot of one flower.

Thanks, that is a fault of the this camera's sensor, but can be used to advantage in certain photos

It continues to boggle my mind that from the homely, anti-social cactus you get blooms like these. I guess that even the well-amored can ocassionally be yielding. I like your lighting and by this I mean that each petal seems to be lit from within. They shimmer. Will they now produce a fruit? These are lovely shots, Fred.
