Default Sand Sculptures

Here are a few more shots of the sand sculptures from yesterday. I put these through TA in a way that is not natural, but really shows off the details. They are part of a contest that ran from the 12th to today. Unfortunately it has been raining since dawn here. I don't know for sure, but I would bet that these don't fare so well in the wind and rain.

This one I stared at for so long. It was like a where's waldo pic to me, in that there was always another detail to find
close up boat

this is sand ... still amazes me
unitil guy

this is one that is best viewed larger .. just incredible
castle and seal

how flipping amazing is this one ... even water beads off his face

Nice job peep. Those people have some real talent. The second one is amaizing! And you get bonus points for catching the hotties in the background of the third one

Great job, thanks for sharing.

Aren't they though..... if I could paint or sculpt like that, well I probably wouldn't be a photographer

Very good captures, I guess I saw these years ago when my sons were little. Then though the focus was more on keeping them from destroying them than viewing. I am amazed at the details they show, especially since the tide or rain destroys then quickly.
