I love the second one the white on the cactus plants. The contrast is great and natural.

Great treatment on the cactus blooms Fred! Love the soft textures. Man that's a fantastic shot on the Iguana. He/she is beautiful. I envy you the wild life you have there.
Thanks for Sharing these

Wow, the lighting on the second one is fantastic. It looks like there is a lightbulb inside the flower. Very nice FD!

Hey, Fred. These are beautiful flowers. Are they a cousin to the Nightblooming Cereus? Regardless, I bet they are beautiful in the moonlight! The iguana-like lizard reminds me of a knight with chain-mail armor. What an intricate pattern, shown with sharply focused detail. Re: Reputation. Just as long as no umbrellas were injured in the making of the flower shots (needles, you know), it's all good!

Thanks David, first shots of flowers and the iguana, well let's just say I get lots of practice on them.

Thanks Fred, thank yourself for the flowers I wouldn't have tried if I hadn't been looking at yours. The Iguana, well that is about all there is for wildlife here besides birds and lizards.

Michael, thanks for the comments. Don't envy my wildlife all that is here are birds, iguanas, lizards and billions of ants. I like wildlife but since my subjects are limited I tend to get the same stuff all the time.

Thanks PrimeTime, the lightbulb is more how this particular camera's sensor handles the colors. The iguanas are now my version of whitetails.

Lindy, I am so ignorant when it comes to flowers and ornamental plants it could very well be the same cactus. The iguanas do favor a chain-mailed knight, but they also favor the dragons the knights did battle with. Some of these guys get very large, I spotted one yesterday that I know was ten feet long, but no photos (yet). No more umbrellas, I learned an important lesson with the last one.
