Default Have you ever seen a gigantic dandelion???

Gigantic Dandelions you must see to believe....a weird plant....how might one describe it? A grasshopper and a ladybug showing their climbing skills. Here are some shots taken right on the side of the parking lot where I work......umm...yeah it's the continuation of the lunch time series.......

Look at the normal seed parachute on top of this to see the scale of these things! Shot yesterday......mowed down today!

DSC_7057

Umm.....well.....I thought it was compositionally interesting

DSC_7063

Look at those eyes!

green grasshopper 2

Not your normal shot of a ladybug.....they want to keep their eyes on you or something.....almost impossible to get them to land on the side of the grass or branch that you are shooting from......they are like squirrels in that way...always climbing up the tree on the side away from you

Wow! Great shots!! I'm having a hard time picking a favorite. I like the color combination of the grasshopper on the purple flower. Great capture on the ladybug too. All 4 are beautiful.

Oh yes, these are real nice.

The contrasting colours are very nice and the compositions are well done.

Just what size is that dandelion?

Another lunch time well spent I am not sure I have ever seen a dandilion that big before. I kept going back to it. The comparison with the 'average' one is amazing. Love the bug shots, my favorite is the pink one... all those little antennas just great !!
