This is the last of the Barn Swallows until the next attempt.. After doing a little research, it seems these little guys are quite the opportunists and this " Kettle " or group of them were furiously attacking flying insects across the great lawn at my favorite park..
I decided to fiddle with this one, I always try and shoot sharp focus, but in this case I had to keep it soft, sharpening wasn't happening lol, I personally like this style in the right photo.. maybe not a Species Shot for the portfolio.. but just to catch them darting around is breathtaking in person and this reminds me of hearing thier wings flapping and how I was ducking away when I first got there , thinking they'd hit me ( not a chance, they are masters at aerobatics) ![]() I hope ya like, thanks for looking, Vin

Wow Vin that is one fantastic catch! They are so fast and you got this one so amazingly well. I love your composition. I also really like your frame work and lettering. Great choices. Awesome work!

That is a great shot my friend. The composition and soft focus work perfectly and the framing you put on just sets it all off. Very nice !

Great job on the swallow. Looking at your pictures, I'm realizing that there are some of these in my neighborhood. I see them when I take Walker (the bulldog) for a walk. There's a certain area on the street where I feel like I'm getting dive-bombed and I recognize the forked tail. Getting a shot of one of these is amazing! I was out yesterday taking some shots of some buzzards and had a difficult time of it...shall I say I have a newfound respect for your captures????
