Default Finally Caputured Relection in Water

I know others specialize in these type of shots, but I thought this one turned out pretty well.

I Finally received my New Lens; it's a Canon 500mm F/4 L IS USM. It's a long story, I bought it on Ebay, had it sent to a friends house in Arizona. I've been waiting until I could talk someone into carrying the monster to me here in South Korea and my Manager decided he would do it for me. So I've been waiting for 2 months to get it, but Here it is.

New toys are fun. I can almost make out the camera body at the end of that lens.

Hi Kurtwall! Yes I love the new toys; Wanted this one for Birds and Wildlife in Thailand, especially when I retire.
We live near Khao Yai National Park and there are lots of birds, Gibbons, elephants and ever some Tiger as well, however I just want to see them from a distance.

Thanks Ian; Nope that was captured with my Sigma 105mm f/2.8 macro lens. You'd probably do a better job on the water drop with you P&S than I did.

That is so cool! Is there a special technique to capturing shots like that? I have never attempted one.

Thumbs up Awesome

Really great shot of a reflection indeed!

As for that "weapon", you are going to have an absolute blast. At that focal length, the clarity levels rocket and it makes for some wonderful captures.

And, as I recall, all these lenses come with fine print that reads "Share pics on DPS"

Enjoy!

HI Snap! I used a Macro Lens with a Canon Twin Flash (Set toooooo High) (any ring flash would probably do just as well.) and set the camera to manual, shutter speed f/1/125th sec and apeture F/22 If I recall. ISO 320 and Snap!!!

Thanks Pbdweeeebie! I appreciate the comments and you can be sure as soon as I get some worthy captures I'll post them.
