Arrow Close ups of my watch

Took some shots of my watch to practice close up shots, I used a note pad and a small shaving mirror bounce some sunlight. Hope you like the photos as the watch isn't all that great ; -)











Any tips to improve the shots or post processing ideas are most welcome.

I like them atulsc. I can see your reflection in the watch too. Using the sunlight was a great idea to add lighting. it is a nice looking watch. It is a good way of learning to use everyday objects to improve our photography. I have just today purchased a polarizing filter and I would think that your watch would be a great way to try it out. You may have a little too much reflected light on the face. The polarizer could maybe keep the good lighting and take away the reflected light. See, what I mean buddy. You have inspired me with your post. Nice work mate.

Yes I've read about the polarizers but still working on my basics i'll be thinking of investing in new gear only next year.
