Default The Crow

I know its a very dark image but that was done on purpose. I love crows / ravens / jackdaws or any other kind of bird of that species. Not only do I see them as born survivors but I seen them bring down birds of prey. But despite their beauty and skill they are associated with death and are seen as the bringer of bad luck. Hope you enjoy xx

Oh no, they are so not bad luck. Quite the opposite in fact. They are symbols of intelligence AND good luck as well as vigilance

Thats a great picture, well done on the capture.
What lenses did you use to capture such a fine shot?

That is an incredibly detailed image! Makes the crow look like a kindly fellow!

Great image! My granddad had a crow that would perch on his shoulder and beg popcorn as granddad ate the treat. If he didn't give him enough, the crow, named Joe, would reach over with his claw and attempt to open his mouth! They are very smart and you captured this one perfectly!

Great shot, They looks so much different up close like that compared to when you see them fly past.

Your picture has just elevated my opinion of them. It's so beautiful. In spite of the black coloration the detail it it's feathers and eyes are phenominal. The texture of it's beak even... Great work Char.

Excellent! Almost looks like a painting. I think this is the most detailed crow portrait I have ever seen.
