Default Evening Walk river old buildings and some other stuff....

Been for two evening strolls mono and camera in hand (police found this highly interesting as looks a bit thuggish when collapsed) .. Here are the keepers ...

The sunset in the sign caught my eye seemed nicer than the one actually happening.

A calmber down to the riverside and a short hop over the rocks got me this one...

a bit too much shade ?

A door into another time ... part of Brougham Hall an old fortified house very interesting renovations going on ..

Finally please knock .... for assistance

The knocker to gain access to the Hall is rather spectacular I have several waiting for HDR ... more to follow I guess as some need some work and some are just odd and did not fit in here lol . Hope you all enjoy it is now 00.44 so night night from me

I like the flowers by the river and the larger depth of field....most of the time I go with a much shorter dof because there is nothing interesting in the background. You definitely have the photographer's eye!

Cool set Fog, I love that door. I'd sure like to see what's on the other side. And I don't think there's too much shade.

Thank you very much ! I loved the walk and my ever patient other half had a giggle at me clambering around the rocks.

Thank you ! The flowers I liked the river in the backgrouns but could not find a nice place to get it down stream so used it as the back drop.

The wall now leads just to a field there are sevral withing the grounds like this but I would love to have seen what it looked like back then and where they went as some lead to ruins some to passageways now collapsed.

Nice phots set. The name on the sign caught my eye as there is a Penrith not far from me. But obviously not the same town or country.Shame though would have loved to stroll through this countryside
