Default The view from where we ate dinner

My wife and I spent the weekend in Guerneville and on Saturday night headed for the coast to a restaurant called Rivers End. It sits on a bluff above where the Russian River meets the Pacific Ocean. Thought I'd share some shots. Oh, and dinner was great. I had halibut with a pistachio sauce that was awesome.

This one is looking back away from the ocean.
Rivers End

This one is looking straight out across the river to the ocean.

We were out on the deck waiting for our table and my wife said to take a shot of this. She was mesmerized by the glow of the sun through the wine.
Rivers End

And now the reason for going there at all. This is sunset right where the river and the ocean meet.
Rivers End

The US of A. And she's developing an eye. She's been hanging out with me long enough.

This is on the northern coast of California. Some beautiful country here, that's for sure.
